I searched for a specialist picture framer for an old tray which needed restoring. Found Tim from Adelaide Picture Frames and all positive comments on his work were enough for me to make contact. My hand painted glass tray with mother of pearl inserts belonged to my grandmother and had languished in a cupboard for many years. It is over 80 years old. The cane surround had deteriorated and one handle was missing. Tim listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions. The difficulty was in making the frame with so many angles. Tim produced a stunning result including touching up where black paint was missing on the picture. My grandmother would have loved the restoration. It sits perfectly on my side board. I cannot recommend Tim highly enough, his work is outstanding.

I ordered a canvas painting from interstate and when I received it the support bracket at the back was broken. Thanks Tim for your advice and the excellent workmanship. I managed to hang the picture to see how it looks, and it looks stunning. The slightly blue tinge to the frame does not clash at all against our green wall, and the style of the frame has created a rather unexpected effect, giving the impression of looking through a rustic window at a scene that could be across the street. My friend, Jill and I recently had the opportunity to travel to the APY lands in central Australia.
